Picky jacks???

Yep the title says it all. Not angler inability or lack of fish just down right spooky, noncooperative jacks. Found hundreds that just would not eat! Thank god this is rare but still disappointing. My client Rob came from South Africa to fish with me for 4 days with the sole purpose of catching a giant jack on fly. After three days of 30mph winds I finally was able to get him out on the beach to fish for them. Now Rob is an excellent caster (as a matter a fact with either hand!) but anytime the fly even got close to the fish they would spook followed by a few curious followers. Oh well, I guess I have to report the bad with the good. Until next time, here is a pic of a smaller jack Rob caught off the seawalls early.
