Today was promising. After another slow day yesterday and only a few snook, today was much better. The first cast of the morning with a 10 inch original Hogy rewarded us with a nice snook, but tarpon was still the goal. Now I'm going to go ahead and say we did not land any tarpon today, but we did see a few and had one eat the Hogy about 10 feet from the boat. After giving the tarpon our best we began the hunt for jacks and thank goodness I didn't have to go far. (The local Valero station has been loving me lately!) Only a few minutes into the search we were greeted by a big school of 25+ pounders. Paul caught 3 and was done! Enjoy the iPhone pics.
