Making chicken salad

I am having some new micro fiber shirts made so I asked a good friend if he was willing to come out with me to shot a couple pictures of the new shirt for my website. He invited his brother along and our goal was to shot some quick photos and then spend the rest of the day fishing. The previous day on my charter the weather was perfect and fishing was great snook, jacks, mackerel, and even shots at triple tail and tarpon, so I was excited to get these guys out. Well I woke up to cold temperatures and a brisk north wind, a cold front had snuck up on us the night before. You know the saying make chicken salad out of chicken s#@& so that is exactly what we did. Bluefish was the main target and even a grouper blessed us with his presence. Any day you can get out and enjoy the Indian River is a good day, just dress for it.

Hey John and Anglers ,
I went out over the weekend to one of my fishing holes. On the south side of Jensen causeway. Just before sun down and decided to throw a top water. On my third retrieve the plug shot into the air! And she shows herself! It's a Redfish. I calmly throw it again and nothing ! I throw it again and three pops! fish on! What a fight! As i go to land my first red! It happens, yes she got off! Maybe next time!
